Fields store key information about pipeline records, helping you track important data points for decision-making. They also enable PipeAI to recommend the best next Action based on record details.
Field Types in PipeAI
PipeAI includes two types of fields:
- Standard Fields – Built-in fields that provide essential information about each Grader Run, such as Pipe Type, Grades, Stage, and administrative details. These fields update automatically.
- Custom Fields – User-defined fields with flexible formatting options. For example, a Revenue field can help track potential deal value.
Updating Fields
Fields can be editable or uneditable depending on their type. Most standard fields update automatically, while custom fields can be updated in multiple ways:
- Manual Updates – Click the field to edit its value.
- Automatic Updates – Certain fields update automatically based on Grader results or Action completion.
- Question-Response Fields – Some fields update automatically based on responses to Grader questions.
- Integrations (e.g., Zapier, CRM tools) – Fields can sync with external software, updating automatically based on changes in connected systems.
By using and updating fields effectively, you ensure PipeAI provides accurate insights and recommendations for your pipeline.
