The Link Question to Field feature in Grader Setup allows you to automatically create a field that updates based on a question’s response.
How It Works
- In Grader Setup, go to Question Settings.
- Next to each question, you'll see a "Link Question to Field" checkbox.
- When selected, a new field is created and linked to the question.
- Each time you run the grader, the field value updates based on the response.
Why Use It?
By creating a new field, you make that value accessible in Action Rules (if enabled), giving you greater control over automation and recommendations.
Example
Say you have a question: "Revenue Potential" with the response option "$100".
- If you link this question to a field, a new field called "Revenue" is created.
- When a user selects "$100", the Revenue field is automatically populated with "$100".
- You can now use this field in Action Rules, such as triggering specific actions when Revenue ≥ $100.
This feature streamlines automation and ensures that grader responses directly impact decision-making.
